The fact that peter cullen is still Voicing optimus prime at the age of 81 is amazing to me

Beast wars was so revolutionary for its time. Not only was it groundbreaking for CGI (I know, it hasnt aged that well) but the plot over time was well written. Especially when you realize that Megatron is basically a terrorist amongst his people and is on a secret mission. Also, there are sleeper agents. And so on and so on. I loved this show. So glad they made it to the movies.

The heart and soul of Beast Wars was without question Dinobot

I used to love coming home from work (at a NYC dance club), "feeling good", and sitting down to Beast Wars, the only Transformers show I was able to get in to!

Blackarachnia was definitely my first “this better not awaken anything in me…” character and we don’t talk about her place in that pantheon enough

Rise of the Beasts DEFINITELY did its job and made my inner child VERY happy, since Beast Wars was my childhood introduction to the transformers universe

If I recall correctly... you could blame limitations for the series being so good.

They didn't have much money to make a ton of CGI models for a ton of different transformers, so they kept the cast small to compensate and the story character-driven. Turns out, Character driven stories tend to be pretty good.

Tigerhawk showing up was awesome. Cheetor and Dinobot as transmetal was sweet too. Those claws for hands was INSANE.

I liked Rampage a lot, the 3 different modes and the fact he was basically an immortal like starscream and a criminal

Waspinator's transformation was one of the coolest looking ones.

Scott McNeil voiced a handful of characters on this show. From ratrap, Dino bot, waspanator and silverbolt. He's voiced other great characters in his career

Arris forgot to mention that Black Arachnia became a Maximal near the end of the series.

Pretasaur was cool how he screeched, "Terrorize!"

And Megatron's TRex head arm was the reason I stopped to see what the show was lol

Black Arachnia was a Maximal but her memory was erased and replaced so she thought she was a Predacon, once she figured out that her memory was messed with by Tarantulus while she was still in her pod she defected and joined the Maximals.

I had, Rhinox, Iguanus, Inferno, Dinobot, Cybershark, Silverbolt, Cicadacon as kid. It was affordable back then, when I saw the prices now, just wow. It's like 80% more expensive
