The ISS is one of the easiest objects to spot in the sky, but you have to know when and where to look.

Just saw the ISS randomly in tbe night sky. I saw what looked like a bright star moving in the night sky. Definitely wasn't a plane. Just checked NASA's website and confirmed that it was visible from my country at the exact time I saw it. Really cool!

I saw it when I was sitting on my deck at about 2 a.m. in the summer of 2006. It was so outrageously fast that I thought I saw either an alien spaceship or a government aircraft that was top secret. I found out many years later that what I saw was the International Space Station.

So it just disappears? Cause a buddy and I seen something this morning that was huge and slowly moving right by the full moon. By the time we got to pull over to film it, it was gone. I live by an airport so I see planes all the time. I knew it was something special. Missed a great opportunity!! Try again tomorrow?
