Dyson Cinetic big ball animal DC77 UP14 HOW TO CHANGE THE HEPA FILTERS !

This Dyson UP14 aka DC77 big ball animal has HEPA filters that are clogged and now need to be changed . Vacuum is 12 mouths old .

My Dyson is being picked up for service tomorrow. The rubber gasket around half of the ball is all wonky but I can see this is probably a glimpse of the future. 😬 I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry when you commented " I would never buy a Dyson." 😂😩

Thank you for your very informative video! I own this very vacuum and was shocked to learn that there really ARE filters that must be changed! I gotta say...I'm kinda pissed about being lied to by Dyson! These vacuums are not inexpensive and it's unfair of them to have such a high burn out potential! Wish there were a class action going on!

Those filters should be free while under the warranty seeing that Dyson claims "NO FILTERS". I was just about to buy a UP14. Thank you for saving me. Why didn't they just put a pre-motor filter on the vacuum.

In the UK filters are £80 for a pair and may need changing every year. Plastic and what paper, try £1 each.

Dyson class action alleges warranty violates federal laws

I think this is limited to persons in Arkansas, not national. Some interesting points in the article:

Plaintiff La Quita Bennett alleges Dyson informs consumers that their warranty will be void if they use third-party services to repair their Dyson products. However, this type of warranty-voiding condition is prohibited by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, according to the Dyson class action lawsuit.

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, consumers are allowed to open their electronics, appliances and other consumer goods without voiding their warranty, even if the warranty language states otherwise, the Dyson class action lawsuit explains.

Warranties like the Dyson’s also stifle competition in the third-party repair industry, ultimately inflating the price of repair, the lawsuit alleges. Customers may also face long wait times to get their product into an authorized servicer for repair.

After years as a consumer, I can no longer agree with the idea that Phillips drive screws are consumer friendly. Absolutely constant headaches repairing stuff, just constant stripping. I've been replacing everything with torx lately.
