Even if that guy would be right it still doesn't prove that God or Jesus exist(ed). It would just prove that people made wrong calculations. Why do these callers never understand that one thing has nothing to do with the other and is not proof for a God. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The whole population argument always cracks me up.

The basic premises always come down to:

1. The earth population doubles roughly every ~150 years
2. The Ussher chronology is accurate

From the Ussher chronology, we get 8 people at Age of the Earth (AE) ~1650 when the Flood subsided
Currently in AE ~6000 we have 8, 000, 000, 000 people
8*2^((~6000-~1650)/150)~=8, 000, 000, 000

Wow lines up perfectly. Ussher was a genius

Except:

1. The earth population doubles roughly every 150 years
2. The Ussher chronology is accurate

From the Ussher chronology, we get 8 people at Age of the Earth (AE) ~1650 when the Flood subsided
The exodus story occurred in AE ~2500


So we can only assume that there were about few dozen israelites fleeing Pharaoh's army of 8 chariots, because any more than that and the parting of the red sea and subsequent drowning of Pharaoh's army would have put a noticeable dent in the world population.

When I was 21, (about 20 years ago) the population of the Earth had JUST surpassed 6 billion people. Now, a mere two decades later, an additional BILLION AND A HALF more exist.

And people still have problems coming to grips with the human population ballooning to 7.5 billion since we've been considered "modern humans."
