How on earth do you call being asked questions and giving nonsensical, false or just outright incoherent answers—with utterly no pushback or follow-up from the press—a “press conference”??

If this helicopter incident happened, the FAA would have had to been notified and investigated what happened. There would ABSOLUTELY be a paper trail from this. If the FAA doesn't have records of this, it didn't happen.

the math favors him? He lost by 3 million in 2016 and 7 million in 2020 and he's done a million crazy things since then so how is that good math for him?

Like a true narcissist, he cant admit he was wrong. And he will try to bend reality to "prove" it.

He has records??… why do I get the feeling that we’re all gonna see a child’s interpretation of a helicopter drawn with a sharpie ?

If there is an emergency landing with a helicopter, there should be a report with the FAA.

“This constant lying is not aimed at making the people believe a lie, but at ensuring that no one believes anything anymore.

A people that can no longer distinguish between truth and lies cannot distinguish between right and wrong. And such a people, deprived of the power to think and judge, is, without knowing and willing it, completely subjected to the rule of lies.

With such a people, you can do whatever you want.”
—Hannah Arendt, German historian and philosopher (1906–1975)

I'm just disgusted, even Maggie Haberman is giving the insurrectionist conman a pass. I guess having access is more important than holding a person to the truth.

God. Why didn't ANY of the members of the press yesterday ask Trump about this story? I mean...your job is to ask questions, isn't it?

I like how Maggie talks about that press conference and at no point mentions that almost nothing Trump said was true.

Exactly what Lawrence was saying.

Maggie could simply say 'I've reported on this guy for years and this is a LIE.' She absolutely can not simply say it, for years.

Haberman neglects to mention that Trump lied numerous times during this press conference. Not normal.

Maggie, I respect you, but you and your journalist colleagues lost an opportunity to grill this guy yesterday during a soft-question press conference. Why is CNN doing 2016 all over again? and why is Maggie saying that the GOP candidate has an advantage with his "message" and record? His record is the horrible handling of Covid-19, out of control unemployment, and attempted coup.

You respond to his statements like he is coherent. The questions were clear and he didn’t understand? Making excuses for his unacceptable behavior is unacceptable that’s why I avoid watching CNN

Maggie Haberman was just
one of the reporters who
“interviewed” trump at
Mar-a-Lago. Not one push
back to his continued lies.
Same old game just 9 years later.
Shame on her and the others
in that room with no courage👎
