Nice work! My suggestion from experience: use a separate rendering path for nearby voxels, so they can have more detail. Odds are that players will spend more time up close than far away (depending on your game), so it's worth investing substantial time into that use case. Good luck with future work, looks promising!

Oook, I have questions.
- Is the planet truly round, or is that shader work?
- If it is, are voxels not rectangular in nature?
- If they're not, do they decrease in size (visually) when approaching core of the planet?
- If yes, then does that mean you have irregular grid in polar coordinate system?

How did you get that unity engine intro? it looks so much better than the default.
Also, I am making a game that uses a similar chunking system. Early on I had issues with rendering slowness, and I learned that Minecraft tried to reduce draw calls by doing a thing called batching. But idk how you could manually batch draw calls on a per chunk basis.
