99 isn't even how you're supposed to set up the joke. You either go with 79 (soixante dix neuf) or with 50-19 (cinquante - dix neuf)

I remember when Risu (I think) said to translate 15 and 99 into French. I immediately got my only friend who knows French with it the next day.

Yeah CC its right when your speaking 3 to 4 or more language you can lose track on what your previous language.

And i do agree with Ceci, neuf sound different i even kinda struggle for the first time with that joke

Me when i think in English, French and some bit of Japanese creating the most confusing conversations ever because 1 second i speak French the next English and a bit of Japanese sprinkle in there.
