My brother had an unfortunate case such as this. He was forced to stop learning science and to pursue humanities... In my case, I failed class x cbse, but I'm not ashamed, it's cause I can now get it to 100%. Acceptance is also important as much as reluctance. I want to thank the whole Khan Academy team, it can now help me explain how and why I'm not able to do something without being humiliated. Thank you, really, it means so much to me! The standard way of doing things is outdated. It is time for a long overdue upgrade. I taught myself calc through khan academy and i sucked at math, but KA makes it fun even through the tough parts. Highly recommend KA

It is difficult for teachers in traditional classrooms to teach mastery because admins and districts want all students taught the same thing at the same time. How do we fix this without making the students self-educate?

What if it takes incredibly long for some pupils to master a concept?

What if *most* pupils master a concept but there are a minority who haven’t. Do we stick to teaching the same concept/topic until ALL understand? If so, what about those students who mastered earlier on? Do they just sit there and practice what they have already mastered?

Actually Khan raise the importance of grasping ideas/concepts/method in the very core of human knowledge. If you learn it and mastery it, you are not going to be suck in exam. The Problem is the educators are not aware or unable that in terms of mastery knowledge, how much they can present and teach knowledge to student in a far more efficient way. Educators needs be trained for the mastery learning too.
