I ran this mission at least 5 times and never noticed those, I barely noticed the explosions and thought they were missiles

Running in and dodging all the explosions also has it's unique bit of dialogue. You can even trick the mini-boss into dodging into an explosion.

I love that if you sneak up behind Honest Brute when he tries to ambush you, he says something about how he wanted to surprise you.

i found this out yesterday after replaying the mission to get S rank, little dialogue and interactions like this really does enhance the re-playability of this already highly replayable game

There's also a unique dialogue from Walter if you find and attack the ambush bots before opening the door in the "investigate Balam's arsenal" mission

Noticed these in my second playthrough trying to find all the contact logs. Wish every stage had multiple logs like this. It was really fun hunting them down. This one has like six in way out of the beaten path locations.

On my first runthrough, I noticed the dropping tanks before I died. After I respawned, I look up and lo and behold, there they are. Knowing how video games worked, I decided to shoot them, thinking that they’d just blow up. Imagine my surprise when they not only drop and destroy all the mooks save for the mini-boss, but the extra dialogue.

Well played, FromSoft. Well played indeed.

As a long time gamer, I saw the red barrels and knew instantly what to do.

First time in the mission i was on the beams above the canisters, shot an MT below me and watched as Carla dropped all the canisters on her allies below me. I've done that every time since, because it's hilarious. The game not accounting for your height in the area

Somehow got this dialogue on my second play through without noticing the explosive above, and just assumed it was NG+ dialogue XD
