I disagree with Michael on PA voter ballots. If voters cannot follow the directions the Legislature and election officials installed to attempt to hold valid elections - then why should the state drop protocols just to pander to those who cannot follow simple directions? We need to ensure valid elections.

Michael, will you address the simple truth that my 7 year old grandson in CA gets more repercussions from his emotional disregulation in first grade as his parents are going through a divorce than DJT, a 78 year old man running for President? What is going on? My grandson and his parents deal with so many consequences and counseling and DJT gets amplified press.

Good afternoon Michael, this is Marquis watching in from Uganda, East Africa. I consider myself a 'regular follower' of you through out the week on YouTube daily newsletter shows with TC< Dan< Alice and the rest of your team.

I am one who likes hearing how you think on matters of importance to you and whether they come out as you reason.

I do not necessarily agree with all your logic but I like it when you also have to review when things do not come out as you have thought through carefully the case of the most likely VP pick for Madame Harris should be Josh Shapiro and that ahead of the DNC. But you surely have reasoned logically other scenarios that came to be as you imagined.


But your point on whether there will likely be a second debate is interesting to me not so much whether there will be any, but the fact that your relying on the insight into the clear uniqueness of Trump and his style to predict what he is ultimately gunning for- He will rather be in the news cycle for even all the bad reasons just to hold the attention of the media and diverting away from the critical group of voters you identified.

I call that group Trump's not so secret super power, I may be wrong though.

You cited Nate Silver's odds in favor of Trump winning the electoral college, is what I think Nate is also including in his predictions. It remains to be seen though.

And I darer say if that group is ignored by the Dems, they may stand no chance!!

True VP Harris does talk about the need for a second debate, but I fear that even if it happens and and she does win it as likely she may, it may not move many minds although another 1.5% point isn't still bad I imagine and may still make all the difference in the end.

But I do think that the Democrats have to weigh the benefits of those precious few points they could gain from a likely second debate fall out and what to do about that category of Trump voters who don't care whatever he says.

Me thinks that group is Trump's not so secret super power!

Finally, The Harris campaign has to come up with a card that can beat that.

And that I think is not impossible and it's either they have come up with it already or better come up with it fast enough before Nov 5.

Really no reason. At this point, everybody knows who they really want to vote for, even if they claim to be uncertain. They know in their gut.
Haters vs. hopers.
Those who buy into Trump's negativity and scapegoating immigrants for everything. Or those who have hope that reforms can make a better future.
