Hello everyone - so here's the thing. This was the first ever sound like video we shot, and in fairness, the biggest fail for us was listening to someone else's choices on pedals. We should have stuck to our guns, but alas, we didn't at the time.

You'll all be happy to know we will be redoing this in due course, but until then, you'll have to make do with this!

I am a huge fanboy so would have chosen: 
Same guitar, squier classic vibe 50's in sunburst 
Marshall DSl40C, with these settings: Bass:10/Mid: 6/Treble 4-6 
Boss DS-2
EHX Holy Grail Nano 
Ibanez WH10v2 
EHX (Nano) Big Muff

John Frusciante used an Electro Harmonix Big Muff so why not use that? The screaming bird and the satisfaction fuzz are just pointless

why don't you use a Boss ds2 which is the original thing Frusciante uses? and it's also cheap...

In fact, you need a strat, a boss ds-1, ibanez wh 10 and a holy grail. thats the fundament you need to sound like him. but thats maybe 10%. for the rest, you have to be john, he is pretty unique.

John uses Marshall's, he's also a big fan of BOSS pedals. You've got no Marshall, and no Boss pedals, lol.

Ik you guys were finding stuff close in the store but if you wanted sound close i would say Marshall DSL40c, Boss Turbo Distortion, Ibanez Wah.
