I've played for 15 years and I'm really impressed with your technique and generally how comfortable you are holding the guitar. 5 years really isn't a very long time, well done

dude I remember going into John's style 12 years ago and at that time he was kinda niche on the internet and there was only Yesyuta with JF's Style 1. And I was thinking like hey people why he's so overlooked. Well now so many peeps say he's so overrated and boy am I happy to see such comments online and with that so many channels play his stuff. Dream come true!

Hello again my dude! I’m the guy that said something about your vibrato on the RHCP Reddit. Couldn’t agree more with your comments on gear vs technique. I see so many guys with high dollar equipment, that are extremely mediocre players. You can sound amazing with a squier and a practice amp if you have the skill. John used a fender H.O.T. Practice amp for some of Blood Sugar. Gear definitely helps, but it is not the key to John’s sound, it’s in the hands.

Could you cover the eddie van halen influenced style John uses in "Eddie"? I want to learn how to use pinch harmonics and sustain like that!

You said that you could cover some specific shows. I'd love to see you do a video about John's playing in 2007 in particular. This was really nice!

Hell yeah bruh. Good tips. This is actually a good vid to get the essence of John Frusciante. Take licks, take ideas, but at the end of the day have your own style. It's exciting and cool to play something note for note and get that lick right, but it's all about the moment and how you feel and what your fingers think is the best for the next phrase.

I like your style. Well done. It's worth noting that the "extra notes" you're talking about are just the other notes in a minor scale (the pentatonic scale is basically a minor scale with less notes - although in application, it's its own animal :) ). From the way you're playing, it looks like you're playing the minor pentatonic on the bottom three strings and the minor scale on the top three(?)
