Me and my husband are already retired in US. Our income is more than enough to live in the Philippines. The development in the Philippines is too fast. We are planning to buy condo unit in the City and construct a vacation home in the province where we can find helpers to take care of us. US is too expensive for Seniors right now. Philippines is not third world anymore, the GDP in that Country is leading in South east Asia.

When I was in Manila I went for a walk in Tondo and felt completely safe.

No place is perfect but I get tired of so called first world countries acting like they are the best place ever.

I’ve spent plenty of time all over America and the U.K. plus Europe and have family in 9 countries on 4 continents.

I’ll take the Philippines 🇵🇭 over all of them 100% !!

Foreigners are so scared of the fact that the Philippines is steadily progressing significantly. BGC is only one of the developed cities here. You haven't even seen anything yet. We have been viewed negatively in international media. That's why it's being lifted. While other countries are busy belittling the Philippines, we focus on actual progress here.

Hey Man! You’ve hit the nail right in the head. Was just thinking about this a moment ago. I feel that the Phils isnt a third world country anymore but no one wants to talk about it. I know we have rural areas, homeless people, shanties and stuff but what country doesnt have em?? We’ve definitely come a long long way. Go around and look for yourself. We have tons of cars on the road, malls are packed on the weekends, contruction of condos practically on every corner of the city. So cmon! Tell me, are we really still 3rd world?

But believe me or not, I am impressed and felt it every single words you said; I’m not sugar coating to express my admiration through your content because I am a Filipino! But, I can feel it the sincerity! Of course some people will may disagree but that’s their choice and decision. Respect for that! But, for you brotha!
