80's, 90's and early 2000's was such a unique time. "the transition times" before the tech skyrocketed. playing with friends outside, watching the stars, counter strike 1.6 lol. good times and so foreign to todays world.

There's something about the blue theme in the photo. It's the same colour that is applied in cars and busses at night to make sleep easier, or at least that's what I know it for. (It's most likely to be a source of light that doesn't exhaust the eye in a dark environment) but you get the idea. It's like things were a lot more easy going back in the day. Life wasn't easy, but things wouldn't happen every time, all the time. There were no social media, no too much distraction. You could hop onto a metro and still have the ability to have an interesting conversation with a stranger. Back when people weren't millionaires, weren't always pursuing a void. When politics weren't made through Twitter. Back when reading wasn't boring because boredom was a thing... Just thinking about it whilst listening to this makes you want to fall asleep in a comfortable place with these blue lights for a very long time, to wake up and to find yourself somewhen different than today.

I grew up idolizing the business/finance scene from the 80s and 90s. When I was a young adult we used to look forward to Fridays, because it meant we could work hard and party harder. That was the early 2010s. Shit was still pretty good then. This playlist reminds me of those days where we all wanted to be rich and dress for success.

Before the crazy got too crazy, before life was grind upon grind. That mid-80s to late-90s period was the true peak. I'm a little biased; I was happiest during those years.
