I take my own small cart to the store. I use a homemade hook to open cooler doors and I also use sanitizer after making my transactions. It may sound like overkill, but it seems to work for me.

oh yes absolutely aware of this, (but not to the technical degree that you are:) ). once i touch the bar on that cart, i do not touch anywhere on my face or eyes. after i check out and pay for my groceries i use the hand sanitizer at the register, not the cheap, watered-down stuff in the dispensers at the entrance/exit! then when i get home, i wash my hands BEFORE i even unload my groceries

I wipe it off everytime I go in. The store provides wipes at the front of the store.

The trolley is the dirtiest part of the supermarket because people don't wash their hands! Always wipe before using!

I love how some of the stores have people that clean the kart before u take👌👍

Always have a spray bottle with alcohol in your car at all times, use it for your mask & hands, it comes in handy .

Since stores started actually cleaning humans are less sick. They never cleaned the stores or sanitized before.

Not in Sussex County NJ. The stores (Walmart, Lowes, HD) are all back to mediocre service and caring about the customers well being as the last priority. All they care about is operating those stores with as few employees as possible while getting as many customers in to buy stuff.

What about gas pump handles, iv never once seen them wiped down? And no the gas doesn't come out where you put your hand on the handle to kill the germs.

Yeah n they should provided wipes for their customer to clean not the people at the store working to do the cleaning

That's 100 % correct !!!
I noticed it several times during this COVID period, immediately I held the handled, I noticed a very itchy sensation on my hands that I had to quickly wash my hands with gel. Then each time I use the store big tissues placed at the entrance to clean the handle with gel.
