EASIEST Way to Tie the FG Knot (Braid To Leader/Lure Fishing Knot)

After the two hitch knots around the braid and the leader you can ad a few hitch knots only around the braid. Then the knot gets even easier through your rod.
I think this a nice improvement to have a more comfortable fishing 😊

Great video, beautifully shot and explained. I alternate my hitch knots. One over and under and then under and over. Back when I was your age I think we called this part a reef knot? You can also use some home made knot pullers to since it down very tight if needed. As you say so simple and for most braid to mono etc we do in the UK there is no need to use any other way to secure the knot

I’m fine with tying the braid to a thick fluoro leader but what knot do you use at the other end to either tie the lure straight on or a quick change swivel? Also what thickness fluoro do you need to use if substituting wire?

Out of all the ways to do an FG, this one is the easiest for me.
However, as with all the different FG methods I find with thin braid/leader lines it's very difficult to get good wraps - usually ends up like a messy ball rather than proper knot.
