EU4 - How to Win as Korea in 1.30 (Updated 2020!)

As Korea, you can conquer Japan and the Philippenes pretty easy! Let me show you how!

This series is called How To Win as it is meant to show you how to play as nations in EU4 and help you achieve your aims - this can be from getting achievements such as the Big Blue Blob and Three Mountains to just painting the map. No matter where you rank these nations on a tier list, from easy to hard, fun to boring, I'm sure my guides and tutorials will help to unlock the secret to playing as them. These guides may contain exploits, cheats, tricks, tips, funny memes, not so funny memes, jokes, how to win wars and what your opening moves should be. They probably won't contain full achievement runs or world conquests but they'll get you on the way! The reason for the short tutorials is that I feel the game starts to become more and more unique with each playthrough, meaning that I'm not going to have the same game as you so beyond pointing out major things such as potential coalitions or countries to ally there's little to be gained. However, by focusing on the opening years from 1444 where things should be moderately similar, you should be able to emulate what I'm showing on the screen. Be warned, this is for single player, mostly, multiplayer (MP) strategies will be entirely different, though the base premises and some starting manouveres might be the same. This probably won't help you with huge 75+ player lobbies but it might if you're starting away from the rest of the world.

Meh, I've watched over 1000 hours of Kdramas, let me let you in on the real way to do it.
1" Wrist grabs. Lots of wrist grabs and piggy back rides.
2: Every war needs a trip to the hospital, at least one.
3: You will get a huge cold, some over the counter meds and it will clear up quickly
4: Product placements. Feed your troops at Subway or Olive Chicken and make sure everyone knows about it. Having a drink, talk about it for no reason and make sure everyone sees the label etc.
5: Nothing lets people know you are pissed better than a clinched fist.
6: Your generals will want relationships with peasant girls, at first you will oppose it but eventually accept it

This just doesn't work, AI simply piles 50k troops on whatever island I'm trying to siege, and you can't move between islands without running into a bunch of their stacks.

every time I declare on Japan (1447-1450) I take Tsushima and defeat their navies but they have like 3x the troops and stackwipe me even if I am at forcelimit whenever I land in Kyushu

Hmm... I tried this one, it was working, but i got stack wiped and rebuilt my 14 units. now i'm in a lot of debt, out of manpower when the truce expired, triggered the peasants war and had to stab up all that, and then after all that in war again but hosokawa still didn't join against me, and even though i have ainu locked down again, ashikaga is like "nah i won't surrender squat." meanwhile jianzhou be like.... yo dog
