Thanks for the video, got rear ended by a distracted driver and the bike ended up falling on the side & the engine casing got scratched up. I'll try your method, hope to find "engine enamel" paint in my area

I have same scrapes from previous owner. Nice quick fix, but I think when I change my oil, I'm going to remove cover and paint it exactly like you did.

Just ran across your vid I dropped my fz 09 and scraped the stator cover. That's for specifying the color because I had be wondering what color paint you used. Looks like nothing ever happened haha. Again thanks

Came across your video looking for cover replacements, did any oil bleed through the gashes ? If so will this method help with the thin oil leak ?

You can also fill in the deep scratches with Bondo sand and the paint

The color is flat black and you can get it from any auto zone!

One of the bolts on the bottom side was completely destroyed during the slide I had recently. 😩😩😩 Now it doest have a head and I'll need special tools to remove and replace it.
