I watch the Oscars with my older daughter every year (my younger daughter loves movies, but she lets this be our "thing"). The older she got, the more fun we were able to have. When I started printing out ballots & we made our choices, it added another level. Last year she started college; we still watched it "together", just she in MA and me in NH, texting each other through the whole thing. Thankfully, THIS year she's home this week, so we will get to watch it together again! We already have it marked in our calendars to be together - live - to watch together for the 100th.

In Ireland tonight we will go mental if Any of our gang Paul, Colin, Kerry, Brendan, Barry or Martin win, aswell as the whole team behind on Cailín Ciúin (the quiet girl), this is our moment!! My greatest moments would be Brenda Fricker winning best supporting actress for my left foot, a great Irish actress, and Daniel Day Lewis win for the same movie playing real life Irishman Christy Brown. Next, as someone who has loved Korean film and TV for years and had watched different projects of the cast in Parasite, I was soooo rooting for them and I felt like my own country and had at that moment. I believe Choi Woo Shik and Jang Hye Jin deserved acting nominations.

Good luck to all Ireland tonight and good luck to all. I'm rooting for the cast and crew of EEAAO even if they kick our asses. 🇮🇪☘️
