So sad, people need to talk to their children about the effects drugs can have on your body, and how people lace drugs with poisonous chemicals.

Sad but how did he get the drugs if he was " safe at home" ?

So tragic and unfortunately, so common nowadays... fentanyl is winding up in all sorts of other drugs. I am so sorry for this family.

I can’t believe she said kids are at home bored. If someone’s buying that kind of drugs and then over the internet, he has maybe done it before or has done drugs before. He could have bought drugs off the intern before and this was crap.

" A drug dealer connected with him on Snapchat." Part of the problem is parents denial that their children have a problem and blaming everything but the actualproblem. Their son was a drug abuser. Im sure he was much more than that and I feel for their loss but parents need to face the facts. My son abuses drugs. What can I do to help him

Yo. I don't want snapchat in my conversations though. It's like blaming Tmobile because the text messages that were exchanged occurred on their network. Such a sad story though, thoughts and players for the parents. I can't imagine the pain.

Poor parents the emptiness they must feel right now. I feel your pain 😭😭

Snapchat are not the parents, YOU ARE the parents of a minor child and YOU ARE responsible for their internet access monitoring.

Stop blaming others because you delegated parenting and the monitoring of your kid’s behavior to a company with no obligation to do so.

So sorry, Dr. L. & family. 💔 Sometimes therapists need comfort, too; sending such your way.

Was he shooting up that Xanax? Fentanyl is not orally active because it dissolves in stomach acid. Maybe he was holding them under his tongue, because fentanyl can be absorbed that way? (I'm a pharmacist.) I'm guessing that they're going to find out that his substance abuse issues were much, much worse than they ever imagined.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you are going through right now. I'm praying for y'all. I'm a single mother of 3 beautiful grown women and 9 beautiful grandchildren. Praying that God will bless and keep you both in His Merciful Hands. Amen.

I can understand where she coming from by saying bored . There are quite a few well to do children and young adults who started doing drugs out of boredom. They little pop pills because they “ooh this pill is pretty shade of pink, I wonder will get me high”. I’m a healthcare professional who has literally talk to teenagers and young adults who literally stated they where bored and that why they started taking drugs.
