Nick Cannon is expressing gratitude Wednesday for the outpouring of support he's getting in the wake of his infant son's death from brain cancer. “The onslaught of love and care — it's brand new to me, so I'm dealing with it. So thank you, thank you. That's all I can say,” Cannon said. As part of the healing process, Cannon invited therapist Dr. Laura Berman on yesterday's show, when he first shared the heartbreaking news. Berman lost her 16-year-old son to a drug overdose in February.

I’m sorry. A child who loses a parent is an orphan but no name can describe the pain of losing a child. God bless!

Rest In Peace Zen. I can’t help to think that we’re being mentally prepared for a lot of loss.
So many young ppl dying. I hope not, I pray it’s not the case at all.

Losing a child is really hard :( losing any one is hard but parents shouldn’t put their kids under ground :( I wish we can live forever

God bless him and his family! Babies make it to heaven faster than adults. He has many friends waiting to play where there's nothing but fun and happiness....

Everybody grieves differently. Some people don't want to hide away and drown in their sorrow. Some ppl would rather be around others that will cheer them up. How do ppl not understand that.

Nick is showing the importance of allowing yourself to grieve . Losing a child will never get easy.

Seems like the kinda guy that if you say, "man it's rare to find a man so willing to show grief and strength" he would reply, "I kinda did it for myself too.". Nah man, you did it for your family, to help others, and to talk about your little boy. I admire you for your strength and sense of family.

He may want to keep this to himself so he can grieve but I support him

Zen was a beautiful boy and a beautiful soul. He did not live or die in vain.
There is still purpose in his life.

I feel like this is kinda soon to talk about his death publicly. They could’ve done it in private. Lots of people would take some time off. But everyone handles loss different and I am not judging.

Losing a child is just a terrible thought😣🥺 I can not imagine what his wife is going through right now...😔 it is my understanding, that for her, he was the first child? I mean, just terrible.. to carry your baby for nine months, have that connection and bond with your baby, you son... only to lose him months later....😢

No one else find this behaviour bizarre?? I know everyone grieves differently but this doesnt feel remotely like grief. Cracking jokes, acting like his son didnt die just days ago. After a lengthy intro announcing to his audience his son died only to abruptly move on with the show like nothing just happened. Anyone else see this?? Just doesnt feel right man.

Just a wonder... why isn't anybody questioning him on why he's having babies with so many women....? And the woman, how does she feel losing the baby she gave birth to? .... seems more of a ploy of attention on him honestly.... not that a loss isn't difficult...but...so many other questions that lead to this occurring..
