With all the mentions of stars/constellations and moons (the moon sisters, the Khaenrian Dynasties, etc.) I find it odd that there has been almost no lore discussing the sun, or a deity specifically tied to it.

I wonder if the "Primal Fire" is Teyvat's "Sun", considering that the sky is fake. And if it isn't a sun and is indeed the "Primal Fire", perhaps the pyro archon is the avatar of it, just the same as Egeria being the avatar of the primordial Sea and Rukkhadevata the avatar of Irminsul. Especially because a lot of the cultural references in Natlan are to cultures that highly revered the sun.

if arlecchinos fire is foreshadowing, dottore using the primal fire to burn irminsul (along with his own parallels with rene who desired the primal fire) would presumably allow for the memories/fate of teyvat to be remade, not entirely dissimilar to the loom of fate. this would be one of the fatui’s plans to remake the world, by literally creating an entirely new irminsul (like how arlechinno created new lives/memories on a smaller scaler)

hear out my delulu crackthought: what if the Sea of Dandelions and the Mare Jivari are... the exact same thing? Like, all the Dandelions have just constantly burnt and turned to ashes for the past thousands of years forming the Mare Jivari?

Since Mavuika can take on the form of a Phoenix in the Natlan trailer, I think she burned her and was reborn without the memory of her previous incarnation. During her death the Maru Javari was formed as a by product.

Natlan is the Nation of Pyro, and the theorists are only cooking over the hottest of flames

nice that you mentioned potential Mondstadt story coming up cuz it most likely is!

yo thank you for cooking. im still going through the video but i just wanna drop my own random theory that mauvika is the lavawalker/phoenix and is just running the show while someone stole away the pyro gnosis.

10:16 the delivery on the "comically-sized 15ft Subway sandwich" really got me! xD

What if Mavuika is the phoenix of Mare Jivari? And maybe the archon quest is about her wanting to resurrect the pyro sovereign who for the moment is just the susy fire and GoatHIMtano is just like "Nuh huh that fire is mine now" yoink

I believe the Primal Fire may reveal some crazy truths, and I’m not saying this because that’s what everything has been leading to, but rather because Fires naturally emit a light. Wouldn’t that be the first thing you’d take into the darkness, in order to see more clearly. We see in that one room Mavuika goes into, it only has her and those flames, we don’t ever see the whole room itself … since it’s dark.

This brings me to Xbalanque, The One Entombed with the Primal Fire. Taking a second look at that title … Xbalanque isn’t entombed IN the Primal Fire, but WITH the Primal Fire. Significant difference there. Being Entombed heavily suggests (in fact, it’s directly defined as) being trapped in a tomb. What kind of tomb is this to trap a (rather suggested) primordial source of Flames and … whoever this Xbalanque turns out to be?

Now, this is when I’m immediately reminded of Nahida, the Akademiya couldn’t create a device to capture a God, so they used a device created by a God to capture a God … so … its a Tomb for a Primordial Source, trapping another Primordial Source.

… Ode of Resurrection … trapped in a Tomb … Wait, has the Primal Fire died and simply resurrected from its grave to only be trapped in its own grave??? (A Flame can die out, and can be reignited again … and we got the Ignition Trailer) And if so … once again, I have to ask, who is Xbalanque to be entombed alongside a deceased Primordial Source?? Are they the Hu Tao of

That's my theory too! Although I think they'll use Arlecchino's flame for "burning" irminsul since her flame erases memories

The mondstadt connection is even stronger after the end of the summer event. We were all expecting this event (featuring a dragon) to have Natlan hints and lore, but we ended up with such a huge Mondstadt bomb? Theres also this recurring motif of 'resurrection' going on. Maybe it is wishful thinking, but i definitely feel we're due for a return to mond before the end of 5.X.

Extra side crack: for a long time I simply believed theories that the Varka expedition must in the abyss/khaenriah, just bc it had to be somewhere difficult and important. But the message Mika brought back changed my mind. Firstly bc mika could get back on his own, and now bc varka mentions hanging w Capitano. I now fully believe the expedition is to the mare jivari. I think theres good motivation for the knights to go there esp if varka has clocked into stanleys story, the whole "wind does not blow" there thing, and any other potential links to mond, whatever they may be

Theres possibly a Primal or primordial "element" for each elements which is some sort of direct connection to the dragon sovereigns original power. Irmunsul is sort of the primal dendro but it could have taken it's power from something before it was even around. There may be some sort of Primal geo crystal deep underground that few other than zhongli even know about.

I'm thinking, we're gonna mirror fontaine in a way, so no Archon is alive, the fire is literally the divinity and it's not reborn yet, just as a parallel we'll get a resurrection story after the sacrifice story. It's also very clear that it's less war, more competition, again a mirroring with fontaine, a serious event is made a spectacle for entertainment and to provide faith energy to be used by the divinity for a hidden purpose.
