It's really cool. On Minecraft EE you could come through and back with an underwater portal and I think it also water logs the portal thing too. I'd have to boot it up and check again.

if you build around the portal under water and drain the water, light it break the blocks around it the portal stays and now you have a water logged nether portal

At least this provides a way to make an aether portal. Or, you could go in creative and /give yourself nether portal blocks and do it lol

In my world theirs a nether portal that spawned underwater and we never got rid of it so it's just there 🚶‍♀️
