I appreciate Germans for doing that, not staring though, but making eye contact, that is to be polite and friendly. Unless of course they’re staring with a menacing face, like the guy in the video, but if it’s a friendly look I don’t mind at all, cause I do want to look at your face when I’m talking to people. If they’re like avoiding eye contact I kinda presume something is wrong, maybe they’re a bit shy or don’t like me, or hiding something, it kinda makes me feel a bit uncomfortable, but that’s me.

I felt so lonely when I moved to Copenhagen from Stockholm. Nobody looked at me. Nobody looks at nobody here. In Sweden they can look at each other comfortably, in a natural way. If you go into a shop and there is a line pf people, they will look at you. You get attention and you can give attention to others and talk to strangers. If you do in Copnehagen, they stop after 3 or 5 minutes. That is often the limit. No long discussions and no looking at others. It is not so good. I don't like it. But it is not everyone of course.
