India is proud of its unity in diversity. It is a country where numerous communities co-exist. But since Indian Independence and the Partition, Hindus and Muslims dialogues have never been institutionalized. Various efforts had been made, mostly in fits and starts, some individuals have also taken initiatives in this direction. But much needs to be done at a bigger level.
