Syndicate - FPS Reboot Preview

A reboot of Bullfrog's 1993 original "Syndicate" for PC, the newest version of this cult classic PC strategy game is being reborn as a FPS. IGN's Colin Campbell gives a preview of what's in store for both old fans and first timers to the series and sets out to see if this shooter can still capture the spirit of the original. Developed by Starbreeze AB for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, Syndicate is set to release on 2/21/12.

@Zoran54321 I think the reason they put "This is where we split up, " there is because they were comparing it to Deus Ex. When they started to say why it wasn't like Deus Ex, that's where the two games "split up."

@XcelentTom CoD may not be crap for much longer. Infinity Ward was permanently banned from the project. This could be the best thing to happen to the franchise since Infinity Ward was hired onto the project.

@jaaki94 dude, Syndicate is heavily like Deus Ex, especially in the story department. Both are about rival tech companies going after each other in violent, war-like methods.

1. the rpg style
2. clothes
3. the futuristic timeline
4. working for an corporation
5. variable playing style (stealth, aggressive, tactician etc.)

I don't care how "unique" it is it's still an FPS, seriously people can't we have some good military third person like a proper Socom or another adventure series, since uncharted has seen it's peak. So much possibilities and yet people still make FPS games :(

the demo gameplay and HUD were very fuzzy, is this normal ?? gave me a massive headache but the demo wasnt too bad, fps wise
