For the fans of the old syndicates, EA and starbreeze will make the core game. It seems to be destined to be 'just another fps'.. it'll be up to the modding community to make the game what it really should be. Hopefully if this game sells well enough (but not too well) they'll take the feedback from the community's modding themes and run with that. Time will tell.

YES, that's what we needed! Another totally dumbed down console FPS. One of how many already? First XCOM, now Syndicate. Isometric view? No! Controllable squad? No! Is there at least some kind of economics to manage?
I wouldn't mind another FPS, if they were honest and called it what it is: "Mediocre FPS Number 1023" or whatever. But don't call it Syndicate!
