7 Tifa Lockhart Facts You Probably Didn't Know

Tifa Lockhart is a pretty badass chick. She's appeared as one of the main characters in the Compilation of Final Fantasy 7, but there have also been ton of cameo appearances in games like World of Final Fantasy, Ehrgeiz and Kingdom Hearts!

For this video, we wanted to run-through some interesting facts relating to Tifa, with some focussed around her creation, while others relating to things like the fact she owned a cat and her strange relationship with Rude!

They really struck gold with Tifa's character, there's something extremely appealing about a beautiful badass female monk, who's effortlessly attractive but also has contrasting shy, kind and sweet nature, and also saves the hero's ass a lot. And to think it all came from a very late reactionery decision of needing a heroine who would stay with the hero after first heroine's death, and how this decision resulted in such a great love story between Cloud and Tifa.

What strikes me so much about her is not only was sheca last minute addition to the cast, but one who was *SUPER* important to the narrative and Cloud in a much more subtle way than Aerith.

Tifa could easy be a b**** to Cloud of him being so insensitive to her and being so hung up with Aerith. But no. Tifa chose to be a better person and still support the man she loves. She harbors no jealousy against Aerith nor does she reprimands Cloud about it. She's just a best WAIFU material that I can't believe Cloud can't see it from a mile away.

Honestly, I just love Tifa so much. A great deal for that is because she reminds me of my mom. My mom went through so much her entire life especially during her childhood and teenage years, but still she’s so gentle. I’m so blessed to have her. Yes, Aerith is a good character, a very well developed female character especially for the time. But Tifa is just so special.

I wish they'd add a visible scar on Tifa from Sephiroth's attack on the remake, but that's just wistful thinking on my part.

If they were trying to make tifa and aerith balanced, they didnt do a good job..cause Tifa is clearly the one who has the biggest connection and impact on him as a character in the game...while Aerith was a caring friend who died, it affected pretty much everyone in the group, not just Cloud, and so it muddled any balance there could have been, including Tifa being the only one who can logically be there for Cloud at the end in the highwind scene among others like the lifestream, arguably the most important scene for the two of them and in general in the entire game

I never thought that Rude have an interest to Tifa. Thanks to this video I know now. I wonder what the expression of Rude when he saw Tifa is unconscious with Cloud in the church (in The FFVII movies AC & ACC). Also I think Rude is happy to carry Tifa (to bring to the bar) and Reno is suffering to carry Cloud . XD Anyways, great video Daryll keep up the good work.
