Again, nice video! 👍
Note that for accurate readings, you should position the clamp next to the cable to want to measure, then zero the device, and then clamp it onto the cable, with as little movement as possible.
Zeroing the device at a random location could give a small false reading when clamping it onto a cable

great information especially with the reasons for such high initial amps with just ignition on. Practical use of the device too. Thank you.🕶

Is there a way to test how much my truck draws with the headlights on, radio, and ac to see how much overhead I have to add stuff before I need to upgrade my alternator? Is that what you did at 3:45?

Thank you very much for this very helpful Video. I ' ve got same Multimeter and used it last weekend same way you described to make the car running again. Obviously the current value depends on the direction you use the clamp surrounding the cable. Positive value was lower than negative value and positive value seems to be the correct one. I controlled with second multimetett in series. Thanks a lot.

What should the amp rate be on a battery that is good, I was told that higher amp rate means the battery is accepting charge and low rate is dead battery?

Hi, Can you tell me why on the clamp meter there is + and - there is a sense when measuring direct current. How to put the cable inside?

Hi Robert, Good video, I have parasetic drain. I know its better to measure on the negative but is it also possible to measure over the positive because my meter doesn t fit between my batterie and measuring clamp?
