I'm also glad the Green Lanterns are getting more attention. There's even going to be a new animated series set in the same universe as 'My Adventures with Superman'. As for the design of the ring, it does look quite ancient but that can play into how old the Corps is. It also fits with what the Corps is, an ancient order of warriors whose weapon is passed down from generations. The animated film 'Emerald Knights' even showing that Hal's is one of the first generation rings. As for John, he could be keeping the ring in his pocket, perhaps still not used to its power, but we also didn't get a good view of his right hand. From the image alone it's definitely got that 'True Detective' look to it and I can't wait till we see the suits.

Hyped for this I hope it delivers the hype because this is my most anticipated Dc series in this new Dc universe. I hope in the next photos we see the full suits and Rip Gene Hackman, His Wife & Dog 🙏

With this being an HBO series, coupled with what we've seen what the network has done after Watchmen and The Penguin, I agree that the grounded nature has me intrigued.

As a big GL/GL Corps fan, I'm looking forward to this! My most anticipated DCU project behind Superman as well. If you've never seen Rebel Ridge, it's worth checking out as Aaron Pierre is great in that. That was the movie that put him on my radar and made me a fan.

I love it and seeing Chandler along side of Pierre looks very good. He’s clearly the big question mark with casting as he’s going to be an older veteran version of Hal and I actually love it !!! He’s a good actor and Pierre is dynamite!! Rebel Ridge was one of my favorite “streaming only” movies of 2024. Starting to come together for 2026 and the DCU

I can tell Hal looks a little weathered. Aaron is the typical clean cut serious John. I can tell off this picture alone Hal is going through some things and Aaron is gonna be the typical mature John Stewart.
