It surpasses the horsepower of the big bud 747, only when they adjust the 747 down. Not long ago the 747 was set at 1100 hp, and it is supposed to be capable of higher horsepower yet. And the 747 is definitely heavier than the 9rx 830. Not to belittle John Deeres acheivement.

I can never understand truck & tractor pullers. They build a puller with a NHRA nitro fueled
race engine. Huh? It seems to me, just enter a D11 CAT. Hell, you could borrow a new one
from the local CAT dealer OR find an old well worn D11 and go pullin. A D11 will out pull
the whole field of pullers. MAYBE D11s are outlawed. Not enough flash. Pullers are too
light in the front. Build a water transfer system. As the sled weight increases, match that
weight by pumping water to the front of the puller.
