Contractor Trailer Inventory! Everyday Carry.

I hate making trips to Home Depot or any box store unnecessarily. That's why I keep inventory on the trailer. Here you will see what I carry on a daily basis to keep business going and workflow moving. You do have to invest a bit to have materials on hand but can make a great profit for material markup that you don't have to waste your time getting when a customer requests additional work or a change order. Thanks for watching.

Having lived 30mins from the nearest hardware store. Having a cache of hardware and materials is a life saver.

Great idea to leverage the trailer space to keep inventory costs down. Being able to stock up when things are on special and of course not having to run to the store all the time save time and money.

Like your set up, thanks for showing. Stackup of #6 and #8 screws for electrical wall boxes and ceiling lighting is a good thing to have. Also, some 1in OD rubber gasket for washing machine hoses is valuable to have when there's a leak.

I’ve never seen anyone with a tool trailer in Sweden we only have tool containers. Could be because the company’s buy all the tools.

Hey thanks for the videos. I just found you and started watching in the last few weeks. I’m in the St. Clair County area.
Have you tried any of the handyman/CRM softwares like Markate? Do you think a guy starting out in this business needs one?
Do you accept credit cards and if you do how do you deal with those transaction costs. Seems crazy to pay 3% or whatever every time you accept money for a job. Thoughts?
