I highly doubt that is a pre-production production Cybertruck. They have made zero trucks that they can legally sell. There is a gas truck in Florida with an exterior that looks just like the Cybertruck. Yes, I follow them really close and actually have the lowest known reservation number.

The Cybertruck is HUGE and I don’t just mean it is popular. Literally that vehicle is HUGE! It won’t fit in any normal sized garages or even parking spaces. It is ridiculously long and it will weigh a lot more than even the heaviest normal pickup trucks.
I don’t think a lot of people realize this. People pre ordered it but they didn’t even consider where they are going to put it. How are you going to charge it if you can’t even fit it in your garage?

Cybertruck?

That might be the prototype, but it might be a short loan because it's basically their showcase until they start producing.

I've been following Tesla since a few months before the Model 3 deliveries (mid 2017) and the only time they didn't have a delivery event was the Model Y witch they made a big deal that their millionth vehicle produced was the first Model Y.

Because the Giga Texas factory is over 60% complete and it took 10 months to get built up that much, less than 6 months before they start production, but they said they'd start with the Model Y, so Elon might be spot on when saying it would be a miracle if they started production this year and expect it early (possibly very early) 2022.
