What's it like driving this new Tesla? I drove it over 600 miles to test it out and see what people think.

We rented the Cybertruck from @OurCyberLife

Takes me back to 1964...My dad's Mustang. He got the 3rd one in Arizona...Driving to San Diego we stopped in Yuma for breakfast. We came out and there was 30 people around the car. Dad didn't like attention but he learned.

Love the interaction with the cop at the end. We're all people, no matter what we wear outside.

It's amazing how vocal everyone is about hating the tuck. But then you see these videos and people are in love with it.

I have built and owned 44 Starsky & Hutch Gran Torinos. I can tell you that I've owned about every classic muscle car made and nothing, I mean nothing gets attention like the Starsky torino that I have driven. Every stop light the phones come out. Windows come down, strangers talking to you at lights and while you are driving. Just like you said, they pace you in your blind spot and take videos. If you go into a store and come out there is people standing around taking selfies with it. Insane. If I drove one of my classic muscle cars, the 442, camaro, 70 challenger, 70 cuda I'm almost ignored. Nobody ever took a selfie next to one of them. So I totally get what you are saying and yes, it can get exhausting after a while.

The fact that it has such an emotional impact on viewers makes it a hit! It will only improve over time

17:40 when the road is wet, you won’t have the same level of light reflecting back into your eyes off the road. Instead it reflects up and away from the car, appearing to be dark. That’s why you could see the lights from the trailer fine. But if you were on the back of the trailer, you would not have been able to see the red light.

It’s natural.

Pay more attention to how the headlights lit up the road in the beginning of the video, it looked like good projection with a crisp cutoff at the upper end of the beam.. and decent distance. I thought it was good.

To be honest the wrap does so much for the cars esthetic! What a great choice

That was nice of the owners to let you take it on a road trip.

When I was driving my MSP in the snow this past weekend, the headlights kept getting dimmer. I realized the snow was building up on them. Maybe because the efficient LED lamps don’t throw enough heat to melt the snow. I’m thinking on the CT the snow might collect in that little ledge between the frunk lid and bumper where the headlights are, and again the LEDs won’t melt that.

The fact Tesla made reversing and putting the car in drive so complicated is hilarious. Every single car has made it so you don’t even have to think about it. The fact they had such struggles with this simple function shows how they fixed a “problem” that never existed

Stuff to do...
1) Somehow shut the light bar off when it snows. (Duct tape it in a a pinch)
2) Make sure there is a way to get out of the box from the inside when it closes.
3) More range
4) faster charging
5) Put a turn signal and gear shift stalk on a bigger steering wheel
6) Better headlights
I'm sure there will be ideas

That dude nailed it. It's the Urus of the Tesla's. More to make a statement than anything.
