First, Cyndaquil is my choice starter for all johto and legends arceus. Second, I have a challenge for you I just completed after 200 hours. Pokemon scarlet/violet, single type only. You pick a type (I chose fairy) and can only use pokemon that have just that type alone, and can only use their type moves offensively once it's an option (so for me, once I had an attacking fairy move, that's the only attack I could use) but stat raising and lowering, plus screens are fair game. That challenge killed! It was so hard! Please read this and let me know if you will try it! I'd love to see the king of pokemon challenges destroy it with the magic you do.

Cyndaquil is my all time favorite starter. Typhlosion is my GOAT and always will be. That fire bear was the biggest reason I decided to give legends Archeus a chance. Just wish you had the option to get standard typhlosion later on.

I actually do love cyndaquil, such fond childhood memories. Pokemon gold and silver were where I knew what I was doing, and typhlosion with thunder and ice punch just cleared so much. Love the fire ghost form too.
