I've been seeing my channel grow little by little and it does actually take a lot of dedication. Professionalism in editing your videos goes a long way too. Can't just throw any video on the channel and expect to be a hit.

I certainly don't mean to be snarky, but I feel like YouTube hands this same script to a different "lifestyle vlogger" every VidCon & posts the result. I've seen these same 5 tips from different 'Tubers and handful of times already. Maybe it's what works for that kind of audience, but I get annoyed by what seem to be contrived gimmicks on some of the channels I watch--especially the established ones ("Notification Squad", anyone?)

Grow your community by reaching out to other creators and developing relationships, publishing meaningful content, and actually communicating with your audience instead of putting on a dog-and-pony show and trying to use formulaic gimmicks that are more tired than true.

I agree with another comment here, so many of this advices are focusing on Young youtubers and a very Young audience. I'm an adult youtuber making vídeos about creativity, my stories etc, and I've found some 50, 60 something youtubers (yay) . So I'll be thankful if you guys give more advices to adult youtubers. I know there are tips to work for anyone but still.
