I don't know what I was thinking, but I proceeded to mispronounce the name of the company up until I finally got it correct in the writing sample. I only have one Shibui north -- the pocket Fox in "creepy skulls" but I love it. I agree that her skill, time and labor make any of her pens great values!

I have imagined this pen being covered in a layer of transparent, dark green acrylics or lacquer, so the Cthulu would be seen as a shape under water...

Because of your previous review video of the Creepy Little Skulls by Ruth Bolton of Shibui Pens or Shibui North pens video, it had become a most wanted or grail pen for me. I am happy to announce that I just recieved my Anti Pocket Fox Creepy Little Skulls fountain pen on Nov 23. It's so fitting this video posted on the day I received my pen. Ruth did a fantastic job on my pen and the shipping was tracked and fast.
Ruth was amazing to work with, I spoke with her several times about ordering my pen with a EF nib and she made sure I had exactly what I asked for. I can see a few other of her pens in my collection in the near future.

Thank you for making these videos and your honest reviews. There are no pen people around me or pen shops and your videos have helped me so much with my pen purchases. The reason I have my awesome Creepy Little Skulls pens is because of you and your video and I adore my pen. My Creepy Little Skulls pen is my first hand made pen in my collection of 80 fountain pens.

gorgeous pen! and just the right ink for it. not sure why Wearingeul threw "the" in there, or why they think the original work is a poem or a novel. it's a short story, and the title is "The Call of Cthulhu". Cthulhu is a proper name, like Zeus or Zoroaster, so there's no need for "the".

That is quite the pen! Although I think I'm more impartial to the skulls, it has a more "fun" feel to the aesthetic.

This pen's theme doesn't Call to me, but that technique of engraving definitely does.

The depth and detail of the engraving is phenomenal! Agree re the artwork on the barrel being stretched is a small miss. REALLY wish the section was thicker! Small sections just don't work for me.
