Dear Sir: One cannot calculate with infinity in the way you did it in the video. Infinity is not a number! I would do it with limits, i.e., " t goes to infinity".

Thank you Prof van Biezen for this video. But i am confused as to why you write t=A, but t != A at the side. Isn't theta and t the same thing and both refer to angles? If not, then what does t mean, what does it refer to?

thanks, Sir. This serie is just what I was looking for

I have never seen a math teacher use infinity like that.
Glad to see you are doing it.
Imp it's a better way of explaining things.

3:44 how the area can be infinite or increase and the angle of the line which was drawn is constant

your the best...your site is my first reference now...thank you for the help your giving

You assumed that if angle theta -> (pi / 4), then area A -> infinity. This is not obvious. Maybe area A tends to a finite limit? How do you know that ?

Lovely explanations. I’m visiting this series after completing my first differential equations class. These videos are very useful references and refreshers after having worked on deriving the equations! Thank you!

[I asked this question on a very old video of yours that had to do with the algebra in my problem. Hopefully you see this. Thank you.]

"Hello professor. I am happy to see that you still respond to these comments. I really hope you see this and respond. Thanks a million in advance.

Is this right?

2(x/105.99) + (1.372 - x/84.01) = 0.02138

After all the algebra is done to find x, is the correct answer:

X = 0.7247

This is for my Quantitative Analysis Chemistry class. I major in Forensic Science. I'm in my last class of my sophomore year."
