Aerial Hoop Tutorial: simple TWIST and DROP

Показать описание
This is an easy aerial hoop combo that combines a fun twist of the hoop into a stag split, and then an easy aerial hoop drop to the bottom bar. It's a good top bar challenge for aerial hoop beginner and intermediate aerial hoop students. This is also a great aerial hoop flow for anyone who is not flexible, you can do it with no aerial hoop splits if you want. so whether you're a lyra beginner looking for a challenge or a more advanced lyra aerialist give this lyra choreo a try :)

Thank you so much for these videos! Great explanations.
Would you be open to doing a "drop for the top" some people call it "figurehead" others call it "superman". I'm not sure if any of these names are correct! It looks similar to an aerial shoulder mount prep on pole!

Hi Cara, thank you for these tutorials. Is this move safe to attempt if you're not very flexible? I also notice your hoop is much smaller in relation to your height than mine. I measured the way they tell you with your fist above your head, but I have really short legs and find I have a difficult time reaching into certain positions because the other end of the hoop is just too far away to lock my knee, ankle, or foot around it. Any tips for getting around that, or do I need to start saving up for a smaller hoop?
