I've been searching for a breakdown of roles like this such a long time.

Getting back into the game recently and having to earn role queue tokens as a support has sucked when I don't have a game plan.

Thank you and please make one for Pos4

I really liked Jakiro example "right clicks vs spells". Very clear. I kind of knew it, but this video made me really realise the importance of right clicks.

This honestly might be the single most useful Dota educational video I've ever watched. Understand pos5, understand dota. Thank you!

Zach this is such great content - thank you!
Your videos are the main source I've used to climb from Crusader 4 to Ancient 3 over the last 1.5 years as a support main.
Hoping to get to Divine before year end and with this level content I believe it's possible!
Appreciate you.

This is the best breakdown of all the pregame/earlygame thoughts that a support has to carry!
I find that the higher MMR I get, the quicker my cores are to responding and understanding my call-outs on all the map movements I see and keep track of for the team. :P

taking a last hit even if your carry couldnt get it is a quick way to lose the entire game when your carry throws a instantaneous baby fit about that one cs for the rest of the match.

This is quality content right here, not a cheap guide saying "do this shit and you insta win". Teaching the thought process and strategies is something a lot of people need to know. Great job!

one of the things ive realized most recently, from this and the video you did with slacks earlier, is that. you can just use buyback if oyu have it, its not something that is suddenly available when your an hour in and they are seiging your t3s, you can use it like 20 minutes into the game to make sure the team fight ult you have actually gets used cause you got caught out, and securing and if the fight does continue to go poorly, atleast make sure a you save one or two of your cores in the process by simply being a body on the feild again. im still getting a feel for the correct time to use it, but if it saves a few teammates, enables a few kills even if i die pretty soon after under tower and the enemy mid tries to tilt over it, it still seems like a good idea in my book

Great video as always!
I guess the text at 24:11 should read "bottom T1" and "Top T2"?

Ive been playing Venomancer as pos5 lately with a lot of success against melee cores. Taking levels in posion sting early makes the right click really hurt. By adding that slow and poison damage, it really hinders their core and support from being effective in the lane against your carry when every time they come in for last hits they get slowed and damge over time on top of your base right click damage.

I'm a returning player who wants to retrace my once Dota 2 skills. 🤣

I used to be a pos 2 player, but I want to restart from ground up to train my macro knowledge.

Thank you for the brilliant guide! 😁
