The K200 is everywhere where I go to school! I’m not a great keyboardist in any way but man the action is so nice and heavy haha

In Canada, we have the ND21. I think it's also available in Australia. It's a 48in piano built without the millenial 3 action made in Indonesia. It's a brand new 20 years old piano that goes along the Yamaha B3, affordable 48in whereas the K300 is more running against the U1.

I was all set to buy a large Kawai upright piano, till I moved to Montréal, where I found a store with a lot of Knabe pianos (when Knabe still was being made in the U.S., in fact, in its last year existing in the U. S. of A.) in different models. In fact, Knabe always had been one of my very favourite piano makes. I eagery bought one (a studio upright) and have been happy with it ever since, even if eventually I did buy a sedond piano, a reconditioned Blüthner baby grand. The Kawai would have been a great piano, but the Knabe was just that much better.

Each piano within a manufacturer must be individually assessed. One cannot take one whole line of any size model and generalize. I have helped students for decades find pianos with synthesized tone/touch excellence.

I always hear that the kawai k 300 is made in Japan but every k300 I came across were made in Indonesia with the exception of the action that is made in Japan
