Great video. Thank you! At 1:08 though, you mention plugging headphones into outputs 3 and 4 on the EIE. These outputs aren't for headphones. First, they're mono outputs (still TRS balanced, but only one channel of audio). Second, they're (+4) line-level, meaning there's no headphone amp behind them. Stick to plugging headphones into the dedicated headphone port on the front.

I had trouble too with that, did you get a bit crush interference every now an then which made you have to turn the akai on and off, which made it better?

Let's say you plug another audio interface into one of the hub's.. will it enable you to use them both at the same time?

good information, brother. i bought a line 6 ux2 guitar interface a few months back and never could get it to work right. Im about ready to throw it out with the trash. Im looking for something that i wont grow out of in a year. Have you played a guitar through it? and how easy is it to get up and running on a DAW such as Reason or Native Instuments. thanks.

Hello, and thank you for very useful video! I have very little experience working with a thing like this, but so far so good! I only have one question, I hope you can help me:
On the back of the the box you say it is possible to connect headphones (in addition to the one on the front). I have tried this, but I can't get any sound from the headphone connected on the back.

Thanks, No not yet im still pure digital but a friend may lend me their guitar, it was a breeze on fl studio daw to setup hopefully it will go easy for u too

i just got this, im not getting sound from the inputs, my cables arent balanced, shouldnt i still get sound coming out ?

Can anyone help me out i got a question! So i had a dmp3 preamp before purchasing this interface and i was wondering, is the eie pros internal preamp going to interfere with the the dmp3? Is this a problem? if so, is there a way to bypass the pros peamp? The dmp3 higher gain is a must for my mic. thanks

So I just got this and there is problems with the drivers or something. Does anyone know the system requirements? I There is constantly lag when I'm recording guitars and mics....

I got the same one and unfortunetely I regret that I bought this shit, when micro is working well, i have no sound in system, and the same in the reverse, weird crackling sound from speakers and videos on yt are loading to infinity, I've tried every method to fix this, I've installed all the drivers for eie and grapics card and... still nothing, I've even bought a new windows 10 hoping It's just a case of system
Does anybody know what's going on with this interface? I'd be gratefull for any tip
