He provides the most intellectually dishonest answer possible in response to the Bitcoin question at the 26:30 minute mark, complete with self-contradiction:

"Not backed by anything"

"Highly volatile, not useful as a store of value"

"Outsized energy requirements for mining"

For those who don't get it - money only needs "backing" if it does not have a limited production/quantity. Backing Bitcoin with Gold makes no more sense than backing Gold with Bitcoin. Neither needs backing like fiat money does as they both have a limited supply and incur a base cost to produce. Bitcoin's base value IS the expenditure of that "outsized" (in actuality perfectly sized/balanced) energy EXPENDITURE REQUIRED to produce them. You can't just create more Bitcoin by having the "President of Bitcoin" type 0s into a computer screen like Jerome does with the US dollar.
