How To Turn ANY IMAGE Into a Custom Photoshop BRUSH

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create custom brushes in Photoshop.

We will start the tutorial with a photo of a cloud and we will turn it into a custom Photoshop brush. This custom brush will allow you to paint smoke, clouds, fog, and other effects!

This Photoshop tutorial is all about using the Define Brush Preset command, and the Brush Settings to edit the Custom Brush.

This was one great tutorial. I'm very impressed by not only how you showed how to make a custom brush, but all the different ways to use the custom brush. To use it as fog and then to create the fire/smoke effect was really cool. I would have been happy just knowing how to make the cloud brush, but then you went into depth with the brush settings and different sizes. It was like hearing ideas for melodies or something. The instructions were clear and the steps seem simple. Again thank you for the awesome tutorial I can't wait to try some of these techniques.
