So I watched the first 2 episodes. This show has nothing to do with being an English Teacher and more to do about a gay man having to teach his students, his principal and the gym teacher about LGBT political correctness. Now I do like the characters, but is every episode going to have this recurring theme? Don’t get me wrong, it seems like the students already understand LGBT issues, the principal does as well but needs to be on the fence to avoid complaints from the parents, and the gym teacher also understands LGBT issues but just doesn’t care and is dismissive about it. So what is the real theme here? It’s confusing me that it’s not about being an English Teacher and more about LGBT issues in a high school setting.

as a non binary person I'm just gonna be honest I'm offended..to a point where I stopped my gaming after seeing this advertised because listen to music and picture to picture shows while I game in my phone.
no that word is actually considered a slur and is cancel culture material. the new term is intersex..so hopefully this is addressed in the show and the joke goes no further because that's just fucked up to even air that.. hopefully this joke leads to education and they speak about intersex people..i actually might be intersex as well and my wife is so I'm just leaving this comment here stating that no that is actually a slur, it's an outdated term used to attack intersex people..
so yeah leaving this here to educate people..

and to FX be careful what you broadcast because cancel culture speaks..last person who attacked LGBTQ and intersex people wrote a wizard series and is about to possibly face charges on prison because her phobia made her careless
