This is my favorite film for several reasons. It tackles so many real situations and has left me completely speechless and in tears. Especially with the young girl he took in from the street...their relationship and how gentle he is to everyone and the care he puts into everyone in this film that has changed his life really left me in tears. Adrien did an excellent job in this film, I highly recommend it.

This movie is so raw it's almost "scary". It's painful to think that these things happen and that people live this way. Sad but realistic.
Makes you feel sick at times. Like you are there watching these things happen or even experience them in a way.

this is one of the best movies i have seen in a long time. Brody's acting was Oscar worthy. the way he has an interview type of talk during the movie is an amazing idea. id recommend this to anyone.

I saw a clip of this movie and watched it right away, because I found it interesting and all I want to say is that please if you are considering watching this movie, please do. It has so much meaning, hard topics, and one of the best endings in a movie (in my opinion). Very emotional and very beautiful.

I watched this movie because of a small clip I found on youtube, I was instantly hooked and watched the entire movie. I'm not a big fan of drama movies, but this movie is so brilliant. I'm glad I watched it.

I honestly thought this movie was gonna be like "Freedom Writers". But this was darker, deeper and more emotional. You can feel the sadness through the screen. A very good depiction of what teachers go through when dealing with troubled kids and how it spills into their personal lives. Adrien Brody did phenomenal in this movie, along with the others. HIGHLY recommend. Fair warning: disturbing scenes.
