I may be wrong (and usually am), but this reads like an accident. Drake didn't say anything to suggest that a tirade against the grammy's was to follow,  he wasn't slamming them. He merely suggested that just because a person gets a trophy doesn't mean he's anymore significant than the people who do thankless work. It doesn't sound like a reason that would motivate somebody to lose their shit and cut him off.

The grammy's really had the most to lose by interrupting a moment of Drake plucking the heartstrings of the crowd, this kind PR problem isn't good for business. I wouldn't watch the grammy's if they pulled shit like that!
