Rapper Drake isn’t really one for award shows, and after his experience at the 2019 Grammys, he probably hasn’t warmed up to them too much. When Drake walked up on stage to accept his Grammy for Best Rap Song, he insisted that the award didn’t make him better than anyone else, and that anyone who had fans was already a winner. However, it was right after he added that artists didn’t need Grammys to be successful that his mic was cut. Plenty of viewers thought it was intentional, while the spokesperson for the Grammys simply said they thought Drake was finished with his speech.
