Dear White People Movie CLIP - Black People Can't Be Racist (2014) - Comedy HD

A satire that follows the stories of four black students at an Ivy League college where a riot breaks out over a popular 'African American' themed party thrown by white students. With tongue planted firmly in cheek, the film explores racial identity in 'post-racial' America while weaving a universal story of forging one's unique path in the world.

Isn't thinking black people can't be racist, racist itself?

Just watched this whole movie.  Black people can be racist.  This movie is proof of that.  Interesting thought provoking movie nonetheless.

The real problem is that she's making up her own definition of what racism means.
When you do that people are not communicating anymore.
It's ridiculous these days that in order to have any sort of debate you must always make people define their terms first.
AND, if they use any profound words in their description to define THOSE words as well before we can begin.
No one is getting ANYWHERE if we can't even find common ground to what words even mean.

Which begs to ask, how do you expect to change people's mind when you don't even speak the same language.
I can clearly hear that you're speaking English but you use words you don't understand as well as makeup words no one has heard of.
I don't want to be dismissive but it is crazy.

Sorry, but this narrative expired in 1992. Stop wasting your time trying to push it under the guise of “comedy”

If there was a movie coming out called "Dear Black People" then we would never hear the end of it! This is exactly the kind of movie we need...not.

Ironically. This film promoted more racism than actually bothered to combat it.

*Racism:*

the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

Racism is not the definition she spoke. Webster’s dictionary was called out for adding that false definition. It has been removed.
