Nice one Lee i lived in stockport for 14 years of coarse it was stockport Cheshire not manchesterin those days. standing on that bridge if you faced one way you could smell the pickel factory and the other way the biscute factory.bought back some great memorys

Glad you liked Salty Towers. Their other branch is on the corner of our street and it’s the only place anywhere that cooks chips properly. The lads that run this place are brilliant; the service is great, they’re really friendly and price wise you can’t beat it.

Good to see you in action Lee.
Fish and chips and a pot of tea prepared perfectly by an expert. Milk first in the tea (easier to control the amount of milk), vinegar first then salt and another dash of vinegar to follow, then a dribbling of lemon juice (what my kids know as ‘God’s vinegar’) on the fish inner. You should give lessons on perfect preparation!
The food looked excellent and great value. Nice location. Star video.
Btw - crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle is the modern way to have chips (often denote they might have been frozen - but not always), developed by the Belgians so not traditionally British.

I eat fish and chips at the friary on castle street edgeley. That's a small portion that's a large in Yorkshire. Makes me nostalgic for North West fish and chips the best in the world. Better than Yorkshire !

Beamish Museum near where I live has a 1900s old Fish and Chip shop and omg the fish and chips are so amazing
